I want to update what is going on in my life and my business first. I think this might motivate you to get started your own business.

Last week, I just published first niche site #2 update, how I paid only $2 Per Article On oDesk, and you might also want to check out this post from niche site #1 tutorial, Quality Content for Niche Site That Don’t Cost Your Wallet. I hoped you enjoy all posts on this blog. By taking my time with new niche site and eBook this month, I felt like I would not be able to participate with another project. So I decided to temporarily stop mobile application service for a while, I think around 2 months, then I will have more time to renew service and create mobile applications again. Having less projects to focus on, is giving me the time and the ability to build a better new niche site and eBook.

Niche Site #1 Exciting Results!

I’m quite happy with the latest result of my current niche site, which almost 6 months old.

  • This site is now ranking #1 in Google for its primary keyword and making around $5-$8 a day ($30 yesterday)! I’m sure that this site will grow more and more.
  • This month, I finally hit more than $170 from this niche site, WooHoo! Revenue increases around 3 times from last month (only $55). That’s great, right?

OK, this is enough for project update, let’s get started with this topic! Today I will go down the details on the topic “How To Write Your First Book” This post is part of my latest epic tutorial, “How to Become a Self-Publishing with Amazon Kindle”.

How To Write Your First Book

There are a number of tips that will help you write your first Kindle eBook, and the guidelines for a great start are as follows.

  • Keep it Short and Direct – Your first Kindle eBooks should be around 50 – 100 pages, and stay within a range of 15,000 – 30,000 words, which depend on the types of your writings. The goal is to solve a problem and inform the reader – even if it is fiction.
  •  Create a Great Outline – You must decide exactly what you outline to accomplish by writing it. An outline is the first key to keeping you focused. Write down the main points of the eBook. Remember the Who, What, When, Where and Why of your topics, if it helps you outline the problem, note why it exists, and how you can solve it.
  •  Creating Great eBook Titles & Subtitles – Once you have completed the eBook, you are going to have to give it a title. The title of your eBook should be something clear and concise, and not obscure. For example, if you have written an eBook about potty training two year olds, the title should be exactly that: The Best Way to Potty Train Two Year Olds.
  •  Create a Series (Where Applicable) – One of the best ways to create more sales, is to create a quality series of eBooks that will allow your loyal audience to repeat their purchases. If you are writing about parenting, choose another topic that fits into the category well.

Final Thought

Writing your first book requires great story, great outline, clear and concise for title and subtitles. Your first eBook will absolutely take a lot of your time and effort, but it is important that you remain focused to your writing until you’ve done and ready to publish your first book.
